Mountain Go-kart

You will never forget your ride down seven kilometers of gravel roads on specially designed mountain go-karts. With their special seat, shocks and disc brakes, these go-karts are as easy to handle (even for kids) as they are fun to drive! Taking a glance over your shoulder while coasting down the hill (with your hands on the wheel!), you'll get a particularly breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. With gravity as your engine, you'll cruise down the mountain through nature's silence.

Opened: daily from 9:00 to 17:00 (from June 18 to October 26, 2011)

Here's how it works

• Buy a ticket (either at Ski Lenz at the valley lift station or at the Hochwurzen Ski Lodge at the summit - with discounts for holders of the Sommercard)
• Borrow a helmet (free at Ski Lenz)
• Head up to the summit (either with the Gondola lift - free for Sommercard holders – or hike one of the three paths up the mountain - approximate duration 1.5 to 2 hours)
• Grab a go-kart or Monsterroller
• Fill up the driver's tanks (preferably at the Hochwurzen Ski Lodge)
• Start (after taking a short "crash course" held every hour)
• The descent (over 7 km of unpaved roads)
• Finish (and go back again for another ride!?!)
